B2R Do Welsh 3000's

Group photo on top of one of the Welsh 3000 foot peaks.

We are very passionate advocates for physical activity and movement, regularly seeking challenges that bring us together, keep us fit and moving.

This challenge is one in the mountains right here in Snowdonia, Wales, UK. The challenge is scaleable for time frame, anywhere from half a day to a year where you check off the 15 points above 3000 feet of elevation. We chose to try to do it in two days (See the map and landmarks below).

The order and direction can also be changed, mountaineering variability!

Perfect conditions to walk across the Crib Goch knife edge for the first time

We could not have ordered more spectacular weather to make the challenge possible. As a group, we had our own mini challenges and hurdles to surpass. We ran out of light on day 1 meaning we cut the final peak, bringing in 14 in total (Counted out above!). Thirty miles, 3,745m elevation, 85 000(+) steps made for some sore bodies come the end of day 2, but pictures and memories that will last a lifetime right here in this beautiful country of (Some of) ours, Wales.

Check out some of the images from our adventure below and please take inspiration to come up with scaleable options to get you outside and moving somewhere near you.
