Luke presenting Méstre Claudio with ‘the fisherman fable’ after an incredible weekend in Mid-Wales.

This festival marked 5 years of Luke travelling (2 hours each way) to Cardiff to train capoeira with Méstre Claudio Campos. For us to bring not just Claudio, but his entire group of students from Cardiff, Bristol and beyond all the way up to Mid Wales for 3 days is one of many remarkable achievements for B2R.

This event simply could not go ahead without the community backing and involvement to make it happen. A big thank you to Steve Frost, Callie Rene, Danielle Jenkinson, Paul McCambridge, Builth Rd entire Community, Clive & Philippa, ‘Johnno’, Byron Jones, George Williams, The Rock Park, Ricki Thomas, and my Family. Each of you contributed some essential component for which the event couldn’t have happened. Thank you.

Is this the start of something?

We’ll try.

Check out the images captured by George & Callie.
